Around our house

Around our guest house, there are many hiking trails that you can do on foot, by bike or mountain bike or on horseback or on a donkey. You don't necessarily have to take the car. You can leave directly from the Mas des Sages for activities lasting a few hours or a full day, and discover the 800 hectares of forest bordering our village. A total of 450 km of marked routes await you. And of course, maps and guides are available for you.

The GR63, or Chemin Urbain V, passes a few kilometers from us. You can for example walk it from Vic or Blauzac, towards Uzès, Collias and Pont du Gard .For cycling, there is the famous Voie Verte, and several bicycle loops, one of which runs through Aubussargues.

Also in Aubussargues, a beautiful walk awaits you to discover our beautiful village: the castle (private), the church, the temple, the communal well, the sundial, and the Madonna, a small chapel in the garrigue, without forgetting the beautiful view of Mont Bouquet and the Cévennes. You can complete the short hike through the Cantagal gap, along the Bourdic stream. And this up to the cliffs, which were occupied during Prehistory.

The surrounding villages also offer multiple points of interest. Like Garrigues-Sainte Eulalie, Collorgues, Bourdic, or Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac. All these villages are accessible on foot or by bike from Aubussargues, through vineyards and scrubland.

You can even make a beautiful course with donkeys, along marked trails in the heights and the forest of our beautiful village. Horse riding centers offer horse riding and horse riding.

We also propose 2 hiking or trail circuits with a professional guide, to discover highlights our beautiful environment off the beaten track.

The Gard department is full of sports and outdoor activities. How about a trip on the water or in the mountains? The Gardon gorges offer you a range of possibilities in a preserved environment with landscapes of breathtaking beauty.

Canoeing, via ferrata, via aventura, paddle, canyoning, climbing, caving ... there is something for everyone.
